Meta Pixel Helper Guru · Last updated: 29 October 2026 · Contact: support@pixelhelperguru.com
This extension helps you audit Meta Pixel and Conversions API tracking on websites you open. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc.
What the extension processes on your computer
- Tracking data on the pages you audit: Meta Pixel requests (event names, parameters, status), first-party server-side tracking requests and
fbq()calls.- Personal values are redacted before anything is stored. That includes emails, phone numbers, names and unhashed user data; only key names and whether a value is hashed are kept.
- This data stays in your browser and is deleted when you close the tab.
- Your settings and history: settings and saved audit reports, stored locally in your browser with Chrome's storage. They are not sent to us.
- Competitor profiles (Pro): the Competitors feature saves the Meta Pixel setup of sites you visit that run a Meta pixel (pixel IDs, event names, parameter names, catalog IDs), so you can compare tracking setups. These profiles are stored only on your device and are never sent to any server. You can turn this off in Settings → Competitor profiles, and delete them in Settings → Data.
- Uptime monitor (Pro, optional): only the pages you add are loaded, on the schedule you choose, to check that the pixel is still installed. Results stay on your device.
- Cookies: the
_fbpcookie is read to match server events. During the Click ID test that you start, a temporary test_fbccookie is set on that site, and the original is restored afterwards.
What leaves your computer, and why
| Recipient | Data | When |
|---|---|---|
| Lemon Squeezy (our payment provider) | Your license key and a label such as "Chrome 130 · 2026-10-27" | When you activate or re-check a license. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy. |
| Meta (graph.facebook.com) | The test event you choose to send, with your access token | Only when you click "Send test event". |
| Your own WordPress site | Your connection key, _fbp cookie and event IDs | Only if you install the Pixel Helper Guru Connector plugin and connect it. This is used to show your server events. |
| connect.facebook.net | A normal request for the pixel's public settings file | When an audited page loads its pixel. The file is read to show Advanced Matching and CAPI Gateway status. |
We do not run a server that receives your browsing data. We do not sell or share your data, use it for advertising, or use it for anything other than the features above.
Payments
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. We do not see or store your card details. Lemon Squeezy sends us the order details it needs to issue your license key, such as your email address.
